Dear LindaLee,

Thank, you!
I've been back for only two weeks and already you've sent me several great opportunities.

The Motorola shoot, for the Pro-Bowl commercial, went really well. I applied what you taught me and it paid off greatly. There were at least seventy extras present and only a handful of the men followed the directions to wear shorts. The people in charge definitely noticed, as those of us in shorts were moved to the front. I ended up sitting in a much more visible seat.

The Music Video/Movie audition was a good experience. I felt that I could have done better, but I didn,t let it show. I kept in mind something you once said to me. "Even if you feel you could have done better, act as if an Oscar winner could not have given a better performance. Walk out with your head held high!" I may not have been given the part, but , I'm pleased to have had the experience.

The ValPak audition and shoot were fun. The audition seemed to test my ability to maintain a smile. I've never brought additional clothes to an audition so I was unprepared when they asked to see my wardrobe. I apologize if this reflected negatively upon you or ACIM. Apparently the person coordinating for ValPak forgot to ask for wardrobe selections when they sent you the information. The funny thing was that even though they specifically excluded primary colors for the audition they had me wear a blue t-shirt and blue jeans. In all it was a great experience. I met a number of people and made some valuable contacts. It made my day when a seasoned actor and crew member complimented me for my performance. What started out roughly turned out great, all because I kept a positive attitude. Even if the commercial never airs, I'm glad to have gained the experience.

Now I'm looking forward to taking my daughter, Naomi, to the Seaworld audition. It's her first audition and I'm sure she'll have fun.

Thank you for everything!

Sincerely,
Robert Halasey
